FUTURE - PLUTOSKI
[SCOTT AVERY REMIX]

Scott Avery's rework of “Plutoski” isn't the kind of remix that feels premeditated—it's the kind that happens almost by fate. Some tracks are reimagined with precision and sculpted into new shapes with deliberate intent. Others emerge organically, the result of a passing idea that unexpectedly clicks.

ABOUT PLUTOSKI

Scott Avery's rework of “Plutoski” isn't the kind of remix that feels premeditated—it's the kind that happens almost by fate. Some tracks are reimagined with precision and sculpted into new shapes with deliberate intent. Others emerge organically, the result of a passing idea that unexpectedly clicks. That was the case here: a spontaneous spark from Avery's wife, Aleiya, who suggested layering Future's unmistakable vocals over an already-finished instrumental—a simple move, but one that changed everything.

What unfolds is a heady, after-hours blend of deep house and trap — moody, immersive, and undeniably hypnotic. Lush pads expand and contract like slow breaths while a sub-heavy bassline anchors the track in deep, murky waters. Swinging drums keep it loose, dark melodic stabs keep it brooding, and Future's voice—raw, towering, unmistakable—threads it all together. It's an effortless yet intentional remix, a late-night groove built for dimly lit rooms and lingering moments on the dancefloor. For Avery, stepping into the world of remixing feels less like a debut and more like a revelation, capturing both the spirit of the original and the essence of something entirely new.
